I watched a little TV with Dad last night. One show was a reely dressy affair where the president was there an also Romney. They acted like they were the best of friends. Just a few nights ago they were acting like my Mom and Dad sometimes do when something goes wrong.
I was just wondering whey they seemed like such good friends all of a sudden. Maybe they didn't meen all the things they said about each other. Do you think they like each other?

I want to tell you a little about me. I am 8 years old and am in the 3rd grade. I like school, and I have a lot of friends there. At recess and at lunch we talk a lot and we talk about things like our parents do. I am not sure exactly what the economy is, but my Dad and a lot of people on the news talk about it. I guess it has to do with money and all and how much there is and who it goes to.
At lunch the other day we were all talking bout the president and wondering if he was gonna get elected again. Mom let me stay up the other night and I heard the two of them talking, both guys that want to be president. I know I am a kid, but they said all them people askin the questions didn't know who they were gonna vote for. I asked Dad why they was all reading there questions, had they been given to them to reed or not? That one lady that was the leader seemed to reely like the president and helped him a lot. It looked to me like they was all on his side and they didn't like the other fella.
I thought is was funny to that when it was all over and they was all shakin hands that all them folks wanted to say hello to Obama and none seemed to want to thank the other fella.
It made me wonder if the whole things was fixed against the one guy. Before Dad went to bed he said the anouncer shuld had said to them all "I am Barack Obama and I approved this debate." He tol Mom he thought it was all a put up deal to him. Mom got mad cause I think she likes the president.

A Boy Scout by the roadside
It is hard to see... but the young boy in this picture is standing at the roadside wearing his Boy Scout uniform.
He was waiting on the funeral procession for Virginia State Trooper Andrew Fox as they carried him to his final resting place.
The young boy stood proudly in his uniform and rendered a hand salute to the entire convoy.

What a nice tribute, and fine display of respect and character for such a boy about my age. We do see and hear things and know what is going on in this world.
